A transit of Venus: 8th June 2004, Venus came over the disk of the Sun. I successfully capture the event at Kalyani Govt. College, West Bengal, India, from the project using a 10 inch Telescope.


Transit of Venus: 6th June 2012, Venus again came over the disk of the Sun. I successfully captured the event at Ramamurhty nagar, Bangaalore, India, using my 18X 10MP digital Camera.



Moon: 5th Jan 2012, Evening, Bangalore, India  18X Optical Zoom, Lumix, 10 MP Digital  camera, Manual Focusing.

Partial Solar Eclipse: 15th Jan 2010, Solar Projection on hand.

Mars: 27 Aug 2003, Kolkata. The Red planet came nearest to the Earth, within 35 million miles, in almost 60k years.  It was six times bigger. I got a chance to capture it with my handmade 8th telescope.

 
Saturn: 6th Feb 2004, at Kalyani Govt. College, West Bengal, India, with a 10 inch Telescope and a digital camera.

 
Total Solar Eclipse: 24 Oct. 1995, Diamond Harbour,WB, India,  It provided a 46 km wide strip for 1800 km in India from Nem Ka Thana (Western Rajasthan) to Diamond Harbour (WB).  I got the opportunity to observer this fabulous from  event from Diamond Harbourand and also took some photos with my 50mm camera.

Radio Brust from Jupiter: On 7th Feb 2004, at Kalyani Govt. College, West Bengal, India, I successfully captured the radio bursts coming from Jupiter using a handmade 25MHz Radio Telescope.
